First off - This site is only for Joomla 1.5.3 and beyond, I do not care about your 1.0.12 site other then I hope it gets hacked since you cant even keep up with the older version of joomla. 1.5 is the new, Its all my sites from 1.5.3 being released will all use. If its an older site its at least 1.0.15 Upgrade your shit, The only information you will find here in the near future is how to upgrade from 1.0.15 to 1.5 If you don't like it then Google it dumbass and you will find 1.0.x friendly sites.

I have been a pretty active member of #joomla on the IRC Network irc.freenode.net I have been coming their for nearly 2 years, freenode before it was freenode. I've been IRCing since 1990 with a 2.4 dial up connection on a 33mhz Macintosh, These days I have 3 internet connections load balanced into one and use a Dual Quad Core Mac Pro

Anyways the objective of this site is to bring you 1.5 information that people keep joining the channel and constantly asking over and over... You take part of the question paste it into google and wow you got like 10 links with all the same answers. Well now you will have 11 answers. Only instead of me giving everyone else's website information out. I am giving mine.

I was unaware of how many club templates are out their for joomla until I got this idea to build this site 2 days ago... I started joining all of them and was really surprised to how many I had found.

Well its now 5:46am I been up all night working on this site I hope you enjoy the information here.

So Ive had like 3 people get all upset about me and my First Off area above, they use 1.0.12 because 'We have 30 sites using 1.0.12 and it be a nightmare to upgrade to 1.5' How about upgrading to 1.0.15 so you dont get all your user's passwords hacked? sure its MD5, but anyone hacking your site will also know how to get most MD5 stored passwords into clear text, then they take their email address and username and chances are that password is the same. Its your fault, you got hacked and now you had all their other stuff hacked at least upgrade to the latest 1.0.15, Its not that much work, I can upgrade any of those in like 10 minutes of actual work. Upgrade to 1.0.13, then to 1.0.14, and then 1.0.15 its not that hard stop being lazy, its going to take you more work to fix the hacked site vs upgrading.

I'm also being told I am angry... I am angry? What makes you think I am angry? I've never been hacked *knock on wood* I've used 1.0.12, I've used 1.0.12 and 1.0.13 and 1.0.14 and 1.0.15 the only difference is, I upgraded my sites as soon as a new version came out. I used 1.5 when it was RC2, then I deleted it after just playing with it for a bit, RC3 came out. I didnt touch it the final came out, I didnt touch it 1.5.1 came out... 1.5.2 came out and the day 1.5.3 came out, I installed it. I am not angry. I just dont want people asking me how to do things with 1.0.x its all over the internet, Go search for it elsewhere, my site is for 1.5.3 and newer. This is what my site specializes in, We are coming out with components that never exsisted in 1.0.x and don't in 1.5 and guess what, We are only going to code them for 1.5, we will not support old versions of Joomla other then on how to upgrade from them to 1.5

Keep up the anti Joomla 1.0 sentiment, it's about time someone realised 1.5x is the way forward and I'm pleased you have. Darned hard finding any stuff out there for 1.5x, and the official Joomla Extensions site is a bit of a bad joke if you're a 1.5.4 user, as I am

We aren't anti 1.0 its just we wont be developing or focusing on 1.0 issues since its old and hundreds of other sites have this covered. We plan to continue looking for things that are not available for 1.5 users in NATIVE mode and develop them like we just recently did with reCaptcha.
