Meet the Family - AKA About Us

JoomlaMafia.com was established to help people find common questions asked almost on a daily basis in #joomla the IRC channel on irc.freenode.net Joomla is an African word that means TeamWork.. Who made a good team in the early years of United States? The Italian Mafia.

Welcome to JoomlaMafia.com where we work as a family to bring Tutorials and brand new never seen before components - modules - plugins. Notice we did not say mambots. Mambots was in Joomla 1.0.x as well as Mambo. We do not do anything prior to 1.5

Jennifer - No she doesn't run the soup kitchen. She runs the Affiliate Programs.

Demitry Rudnev - Wait whats this? A russian in bed with the Mafia?! We go deep very deep. He wrenchs on templates and helps with installation testing and debugging and comes up with list. Try to get him to say 'In Mother Russian We....'

An introduction in which one Mafia member informs another that a new acquaintance is also a member. It is a means of vouching for the underworld credentials of another person. As opposed to "friend of mine," which, in introduction, means simply what it says.
